Elisabeth working on Overhead Squats... Elisabeth is a Pepperdine student and was introduced to CrossFit in NorCal at CrossFit Los Altos- where she went through her introduction and Elements-type training last summer. We are lucky she stopped by and started working out with us- and while we have many faculty and staff... she is one of only a few Pepperdine University students who has done so... among that group are Amanda, Jessica and Drew- also very hardworking academics and CrossFitters! Elisabeth has committed to CrossFit Malibu and her dedication has already paid off in the form of a very nice OHS. Great depth, strong midsection, "showing her armpits", and settling in deep with some weight. Standing solid in her Lululemon socks. If only she could convince her boyfriend to come in and get STRONG! :)
I thought that combo would be a lot worse than it was. Maybe I was slacking.
