Great CFM turn-out for the Malibu Sharks Homecoming on Friday night... with a dozen members of the Hut showing support for our own Coach Ollie Oliver who moonlights as the Sharks' defensive coordinator. With 5 wins in a row and a few shutouts under their belt, the Sharks were on a roll going up against the favored league champs. While the score the disappointing- it was great to cheer for the home team, watch Ollie in action and be a part of a very large community event.
A night under the lights in West Malibu |
Ollie's words in response to Friday's homecoming game, "Thank you so much for the support Friday night. I appreciate everyone who was able to attend the game and support myself but also a greast group of young men. I know the game meant a lot to them (and to me) and we were very disappointed with the outcome. Sorry I couldnt talk after the game but unfortunately the outcome dictated a different post game."
Well- we are proud of you Sharks and Coach Ollie- the grit to fight until that last minute- grinding out a touchdown with just 20 seconds to go showed determination and a will to keep fighting. The Sharks play at home again this Friday night at 7pm.
