Friday 090911 WOD

"Barbara"

Five rounds, each for time of:
20 Pull-ups
30 Push-ups
40 Sit-ups
50 Squats

Rest precisely three minutes between each round.

Jennifer came in today for a one hour intro/orientation session. Her current exercise regimen is to walk 2 miles most days of the week. She came in for a session and did a scaled version of CrossFit baseline after spending a few minutes practicing technique on each element. While she has some areas to develop with her rowing technique- the power she generated on the 500m row shows that a soon-to-be grandmother is capable of a great deal of work capacity... more than she is even aware of! I hope that the friends who walk with her each day understand that she (and they) are capable of pushing themselves with high intensity workouts AND that these workouts producing results- both immediately and over the long run. Great work Jennifer.. and great music choice with the Led Zeppelin!
