Use 25, 45, or 65 pound dumbbells. Use one of the Clean and Jerk dumbbells as the load for the weighted pull-ups. Placing the dumbbell between legs crossed at the ankles works very well.  Cleans are full squat cleans, jerks can be push or split.

Happy Birthday to Stephanie!  She was an integral part of our very first set of On Ramp classes back in October 2009 and has been with us ever since.  Stephanie works at Pepperdine running the administration side of the Natural Science Department- which all of the CFM members who work/ed in NatSci are really grateful; and that is about 8 of us!  Recently she attended Sean Waxman's Olympic weightlifting clinic to improve her movements in the snatch/clean and jerk- and her efforts are paying off.  In addition to setting PRs at CFM, she also enjoys pursuing land-speed records in the desert!  Keep up the hard work and the great results Stephanie...and Happy BDay.  Look forward to a BDay/Deadlift BBQ in the near future.
