Jessica- overhead barbell walking- has been with us for about 8 months now- and continues to motivate members by the numbers she puts on the board and now by training more classes! She finished a CFM internship over the summer/fall, including receiving her Level 1 certification. She will graduate with her BA in Sports Med in just a few months! She has been teaching a CrossFit-style bootcamp at Pepperdine through campus recreation. As the class continues to pick up members (including the current director of campus rec!), Jessica begins running 2 Pepperdine student On-Ramp classes as part of a Sports Medicine pilot research study at CrossFit Malibu. She will be assisted in the On Ramp class by current intern, Ollie, who most of you know by now- and another student- Zach, is leading the research side of the project. Thanks to Priscilla for nuturing our connection with Pepperdine University Departmant of Sports Medicine..
