Each session yesterday was dedicated to the memory of our friend Ted. Each session had a different feel- each session included some people who knew Ted well. We finished out the day with a final WOD of the night - at Malibu Inn... a group of 9 CrossFit Malibu athletes, post workout, spending time together. Looking around the table- a newer member of CFM asked how I knew everyone... and it was fun to reflect on how this group has assembled. All with the idea that we meet up a few times a week to get stronger and more conditioned... and we end up with that PLUS a whole lot more...

40/25 pound Dumbbell snatch, 10 reps, right arm
10 L Pull-ups
40/25 pound Dumbbell snatch, 10 reps, left arm
10 hand release push ups
Post times to journals/chalkboard
Since Crossfit Malibu has pull with the home office I would like to request a break from Toes to Bar. Though normally I like anything with "bar" in the title. I don't think my body can handle another week of being inverted over 100 times.
ReplyDeleteOk Lee... You were inverted only 30 times today (not including the warmup)... I am keeping track for you so that we dont exceed that magic 100 mark! :)
