A quick peak at CrossFit Malibu

Olympic weight lifting platforms, bumper plates, steel barbells, kettle bells, medicine balls, pull-up bars, ropes, rings, and plyometric boxes. Heavy stuff just sitting there waiting to be lifted, thrown, pushed, pulled, climbed, flipped, and dragged.

It might seem a little daunting because it neither looks nor feels like the gym where you currently workout. There is a lot of open space, no TV screens and not a single piece of machinery that can be used while you read the morning newspaper. I haven't seen anyone pull 1000 meters on the C2 rower while text messaging. It would be impossible to check voice mail or answer a phone call mid-workout.

And that's the point. It's a workout. The purpose is to attain, maintain, develop, and rise to a higher level of fitness than you ever imagined. To uncover what can REALLY be achieved along the lines of endurance, stamina, strength, power, speed, flexibility, balance, accuracy, coordination and agility. And it doesn't matter why you want it. But you CAN build it. We are here to help.
